“Journaling is like whispering to one’s self and listening at the same time.” – Mina Murray
A great activity for encouraging mindfulness is journaling. Remember writing in your secret diary when you were a kid, well journaling is the adult version of that. If you’re feeling stressed, anxious or worried, picking up a pen and writing down what you’re feeling can help you take your mind off things. It’s also great for when you feel great too – it helps with gratitude and introspection.
Write it down before you forget…
Everything seems a little clearer when removing thoughts from your head and placing them onto paper. Whether it’s goals for your future or even something exciting that happened to you that day that you’d like to remember. It’s a great way to stay on track and meditate on what’s important to you for a while. You should try it!
✍ Do you write in a journal? I’d love to know!
